my passion

It was 2020, and in Heidelberg we had to stay inside our homes because of Covid. I desperately wanted to break into the fashion industry, and Instagram became my tool. “Do something with what you already have,” I said to myself: a camera, some Zara garments, and a pillow as a fake belly. I created outfits for a pregnant woman, posted them online, and that was the beginning.

Then came GlamObserver, a coaching program created by Giada, who had worked at Alexander McQueen. I joined the program, and it reaffirmed what I had already known deep inside: fashion styling was what I truly wanted to do.

Ever since I was 16, when I had to complete a school project analyzing the relationship between the price and quality of garments, I knew I wanted to work in fashion. That passion led me to enroll in a double degree in Advertising and Public Relations and Philosophy. Later, I dreamed of moving to Madrid and working for a fashion magazine.

Those were my plans, but sometimes reality hits hard. Family problems forced me to leave everything behind and search for something easier, something that could quiet all the voices around me. For a long time, I tried to convince myself that fashion was simply not meant for me.

Raising like the Fenix

So...yes. I have a degree in teaching, a Master in Illustration and WebDevelopment but my heart is stil in love with FASHION and ART and very frustated. I tried this other path but the heart wants what it wants. It was time to fight again. It was the time to do the Condé-Nast Course in Fashion Styling and Personal Shopping after the Glam Observer program. Starting DMing my favourite stylist and following their jobs. Putting all the focus on learing and absorving everything I could. I had a clear vision. I prayed and started acting. The Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Madrid was around the corner so I looked for it in Internet and saw that Cristina Reyes was giving a Master Class in the Allianze corner so I submited a raffle for two people and won! Took the Ave the day after at 7:00am with my man and went to Madrid. Met Cristina. Took the microphone at the end of the Masterclass and asked: what do I need to do to become a Fashion Stylist? and she answered: being an Assistant. At the end of the questions round I went with my man to met her and take a picture together and, then, I heard the words that became the open door to my dream, to my passion, to my purpose: do you want to be my assistant? I stoped brething: YES, of course.

Let´s go

Then the Pronovias catwalk was around the corner in Barcelona.  The test and it went well. The appointment: the Princesa Sofía Hotel. It was one of the best weekends of my life. Next stop: Madrid to be the Assistant of the best Fashion Stylist of my country.
